Africa CDC in collaboration with partners organized a training of trainers workshop to equip the entire PHEOC and IMS surge staff with skills required in the PHEOC during response operations. The goal of this training is to contribute to strengthening of countries capacity for coordinating the preparation for and response to Public Health Emergencies (PHEs) through providing training to Regional Trainers who will conduct cascade trainings to national PHEOC and IMS staff on PHEOC operations and management. The training brought together 36 participants from 24 African Union Member States.
